Screens

The pricing for screens varies depending on detail and size. It is impossible to put set prices on them because of the different levels of detail people want. Here are some estimates to help you get an idea of what a screen might cost, but please e-mail us at rdb261@truman.edu with your idea to get an exact price.

Non-folding 3 Panel Screen (1 ft. tall) - $75*

Small Screen (1 1/2 ft. tall) - $125*

Medium Screen (3 ft. tall) - $175*

Large Screen (5 ft. tall) - $500*

Single Panels & Keychains

Single panels are usually about 3''x5'' and are painted on with acrylic. If you are interested in a different size, please e-mail me and ask. Keychains are fairly small (1''-2'') and come with a keyring. We offer rectangle, square, circle shapes.

Regular Panel (3''x5''): $22*

Keychains: $10**

*This is for one character only. If you want an additional character on the panel, add $5.

**An extra character can be placed on the backside of a keychain, please add $2 for this.

Illustrations

When you commission me for an illustration, you can choose from one of the following mediums: marker, acrylic, colored pencil, or a combination of the three. Most of my illustrations will be done on bristol, but some larger pictures may be done on very thick drawing paper.

Small Illustration (4.25 x 5.5 in.) $25*

Medium Illustration (8.5 x 11 in.) $40*

Large Illustration (10 x 14 in.) $55*

*These prices are for one character and a simple background. Each additional character is $5.

Once you have decided that you want to be in line for a commission, check out our slot list below to see if any commission spots are available. If a slot is open, a deposit is required to hold your spot (if there are no slots available, you can e-mail me and ask to be put on the waiting list). The deposit is half the final price for screens and $10 for illustrations. This deposit is nonrefundable, but it will be taken out of the final price of your order. For example, if a screen totals $200, you will owe $100 at the end plus shipping. Every customer is responsible for their own shipping charges.
If you are paying the deposit in person, I accept cash and money orders (I only accept checks on purchases over $100). If you are not paying in person, I accept Paypal, money orders, and checks when they apply. Please do not send cash in the mail. I strongly prefer Paypal because it is safer and faster than snail mail. I am not responsible for any lost checks or money orders in the mail. I always wait one week after depositing a check to ensure that it clears.

I work on commissions in the order I receive them. I may discuss prices and designs with multiple people at once, but I will only construct one screen at a time. You can expect small and medium screens to take one to two months to complete, and a large screen up to three months. Illustrations can take up to a month.

Please e-mail me if you are interested in a commission slot. Once I receive your deposit, I'll add you to the list. Check back here often to check for openings!

Commissions are currently closed for the Tokyo in Tulsa convention. If you will be attending, we will be taking signups there. Any extra slots will be available to anyone else after the convention. :)
