TOONY LARGE FELINE FOAM BASE

The base:
This listing is for one *large* toony feline foam base to make your own fursuit or mascot costume. This shape could work for all kinds of large felines like tigers, lions, panthers, cheetahs, etc. The original model was created digitally in Nomad Sculpt before being molded so it has perfect symmetry!
The base is cast with a plug so the majority of it is already hollowed out. Because of this the base may feel "flimsy" until it is furred and lined. The outside edges are roughly 1/2'' - 3/4'' thick and taper down to 1/4''ish around the muzzle. This makes is easier to install teeth and cut out nostrils so you don't have to do a ton of extra carving. Cutting along the mouth guidelines will allow you to make a moving jaw or prop open mouth for a permanent expression and airflow.

Measurements:
Please refer to photos for measurements. This base is designed to be worn with a fullsuit or for those who prefer larger heads. A smaller version is available in TPU and PLA.

Ears:
By default this base has no ears, but you can add them on from the drop down menu. There are registration marks on the base to help you line them up, as well as a curve in between them to create an ear vent. The ears are 3D printed from squishy TPU and take to hot glue super well. They are less flexible than foam ears and have more of a rubbery feel, but they are way more sturdy.

Teeth:
By default this base has no teeth, but you can add them on from the drop down menu. Lower teeth are printed in white ABS, so there will be visible print lines when you look close. However, because it is printed out of ABS it is very strong, easy to sand, and easy to paint. The teeth are attached to a solid plate because the lower jaw is pretty deep, so this gives the tongue a place to be glued to without sinking down. There are no upper teeth and no tongue. Most people prefer to make minky or fleece tongues for the toony bases.

Matching eye blanks are coming! If you trust me you can preorder these from the drop down menu, but I don't have any pictures yet.

A NOTE:
All foam bases, especially bases at this large size, will have minor imperfections. These include bubbles on the surface (mainly towards the edges), small air pockets under the surface, and rough patches on the surface. None of these effect furring or the final product. Any bases that major issues will be in my clearance section at a discounted rate.
